Hi,

I'm developing an authentication module to work with Auth Memcookie, I'm new in perl so I'm not pretty sure how to work with this, the thing is: Anybody worked with Auth Memcookie with Perl and/or WebGUI?

Why would you want to do this? WebGUI's built in authorization scheme  
works in a very similar way already and provides more complete session  
handling.

I want to do this because I'm using a Single Sign-On plattform to manage sessions with applications developed in PHP, the plattform is called simpleSAMLphp and is developed by Feide, now I think Auth Memcookie is a great solution to do this, now, if you know another way to do this, please let me know, I'll be very grateful.

JT,

This looks like an interesting module. Here's the project page. I'm guessing it would require writing a new authentication method for WebGUI in order to support it. Isn't the authentication system pluggable in order to support this kind of thing?

John, have you looked at OpenID? There is a plugin in the Bazaar that implements this authentication scheme. I haven't tried it yet but there's several comments.
